Terms of service

By creating an account or using Recruitr you agree to these terms.

Last updated 5 October 2026

The service

Recruitr computes a score and evidence summary from public developer data and lets recruiters search and review candidates. Scores are decision support, not a guarantee of ability or a hiring decision.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
  • Link only GitHub and LeetCode accounts that are yours. Linking someone else’s account is not allowed.
  • One GitHub account can back only one profile.

Acceptable use

  • Do not submit code you did not write, use AI to answer walkthroughs, or otherwise manipulate your score.
  • Do not scrape the platform, probe it for weaknesses without permission, or overload it.
  • Recruiters must use candidate data only for genuine hiring, must not discriminate unlawfully, and must not resell or republish it.

Scores and flags

Scores can change as your public work or our scoring method changes. A “needs review” flag from a code walkthrough is a signal for a human to look closer. It is not proof of misconduct.

Your content

You keep ownership of your code and profile content. You give us permission to process it as described in the privacy policy so the service can work.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running but provide it “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or accuracy. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
